Visitors are invited to take a guided winter evening walk by the light of the Snow Moon. The outdoor program that will start in the North Field, adjacent to the parking lot near the site entrance.

Moonrise is at 5:50 p.m., so if skies are clear, the group will have good lighting; otherwise, flashlights are recommended. Warm clothes and appropriate footwear are required, and hiking poles and/or traction footwear are suggested. The trails are not steep but may be slick and/or snowy.

A guide will be waiting in the North Field parking area at 7 p.m., and the visitor center will open by 6:30 p.m. in case visitors arrive early and would like to keep warm while waiting for the hike to start. The hike will be under two miles, with flexibility depending on visitor interests.
