LAKE PLACID — Lake Placid News Staff Writer Elizabeth Izzo interviewed Lake Placid postal carrier Phil LeBlanc on Tuesday, Oct. 27, two days before he retired after being with the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years. He was famously known as the “Main Street mailman,” even though Main Street was only part of his daily route.
