LAKE PLACID — In May 2018, Lake Placid News Editor Andy Flynn interviewed Ruth Hart during the first Lake Placid Community Day at the North Elba Show Grounds. She was honored as the 2018 Lake Placid-North Elba Adult Distinguished Volunteer of the Year and was 99 years old at the time. On May 3 this year, she turned 101.
