Norah Galvin, a senior, led the way once again for Lake Placid with 22 points, 18 assists, 11 digs, eight kills and six aces.

Fellow senior Kelsey McKillip had 15 points, five digs, five kills and one ace, while junior Fiona Sullivan chipped in with eight points, six digs, four assists, two aces and one kill.

The Beekmantown Eagles volleyball team flew past the host Lake Placid on Thursday, Oct. 10 with a 3-0 victory. The Blue Bombers fell by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-20.

Lake Placid’s Galvin led her team both offensively and defensively. She recorded 10 digs, eight assists, eight kills, one ace and one point.

Ireland Cassidy led the team with five points, while also adding five digs. Haileigh LaMare chipped in with four points, four kills and four digs.

The Blue Bombers are currently 3-8 overall, after falling to the Clifton-Fine Eagles on Oct. 15.
