LAKE PLACID — Caroline Roy of Lake Placid recorded the first hole-in-one of the season at the Whiteface Club and Resort Golf Course.

An early morning player by nature, Roy used a 7 iron on the 120 yard 11th hole to register the ace on May 25. For the longtime Whiteface Club member and multiple winner of the club championship, it was her second career hole-in-one. The first came last season on the par 3 third hole. Roy’s achievement occurred on just the 16th day of the season.

The 2023 campaign saw a total of seven aces across three of Whiteface’s four par 3 holes.

Starting at $1.44/week.
