USA Luge to host FIL Junior World Cup at Utah Olympic Park

LAKE PLACID — International junior luge athletes are coming to North America for the FIL Junior Luge World Cup from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 at Utah Olympic Park, home of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Park City.

USA Luge athletes expected to compete include 2022 Junior World Championship bronze medalist Matt Greiner (Park City, Utah) and Aidan Mueller (West Islip, New York), who moved into men’s singles following a career in men’s doubles with partner, Frank Ike (Lititz, Pennsylvania), who was named to the National Team this season.

Marcus Mueller (Brookfield, Wisconsin) and Ansel Haugsjaa (Framingham, Massachusetts) will represent the team in men’s doubles.

Leading the women’s singles are Sophia Gordon (Sussex, Wisconsin) and Emma Erikson (Park City, Utah).
