Adirondack North Stars baseball shine in Canada

The Adirondack North Stars baseball team finished its season by placing third in an Invitational tournament in Cornwall, Ontario. The team, which is made up of boys from Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and one player from Bangor, went 3-2 in the tournament and was the only team to steal a win from the tournament champions, the Cornwall River Rats. The Northstars are slated to field a team again next year to play competitive baseball across the region and into Quebec and Ontario.
