LAKE PLACID — Members of the National Team and the Junior National Team competed in the USA Luge Start Championships Friday, Aug. 18 on the refrigerated start track at the team’s headquarters on Church Street in Lake Placid. Three-time Olympians Tucker West and Summer Britcher won the men’s and women’s singles events, respectively. Zack DiGregorio and Sean Hollander won in men’s doubles, and Chevonne Forgan and Sophie Kirkby won in women’s doubles. Read the story here.
