Second hole-in-one of season at Whiteface Club
LAKE PLACID — After only two holes in one all of last year, the Whiteface Club Golf Course in Lake Placid has already announced two aces in the first two weeks of the season.
The latest member of the 2023 hole-in-one club is member Bruce Berra. In chilly and windy conditions on May 18, Berra drove the par 3 eighth hole and promptly canned the third ace of his career.
Berra’s feat followed that of John Enright on the second day of the season. The Rhode Island resident dropped a seven iron into the hole on the par 3 third hole.
