LAKE PLACID — Four Lake Placid boys tennis players have been named to the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference all-star team.

Lake Placid’s Sonja Toishi and Tristan Spotts were selected to the second team for boys singles in number one and number two spots, respectively, while Harrison and Nash Carlisto earned second-team honors as the No. 1 doubles team.

Toishi, who joined the Blue Bombers tennis team as a seventh-grader, finished the season as the Section VII CVAC Singles runner-up after falling in the championship match. She finished her varsity career with two sectional titles on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.

Spotts, who also joined the squad as a seventh grader, competed in the doubles tournament in the Section VII tennis championships, after completing the regular season as a singles player. Spotts lost in the doubles quarterfinals to the eventual runner-up.

Unlike Spotts, the Carlisto brothers competed as a doubles team through the entire season. During the sectional tournament, the Carlisto’s lost in the doubles quarterfinals to the eventual Section VII champions.
