Northwood skiers, from left, David Meola, Jake Middleton, Jillian Barile, Austin Swirsky, Garrett Hinge and Owen Reilly hold up their recognition awards last weekend at Whiteface Mountain in Wilmington. Meola placed second in the under-18 giant slalom state championships to qualify for the FIS Finals at Gore Mountain March 9-12. Middleton was awarded the Hal Evans Award for lowest combined race points at the Empire State Winter Games.
