Rick Preston for North Elba supervisor
To the editor:
I am joyfully joining the North Elba Democratic community’s hearty multi-party endorsement of Rick Preston for North Elba supervisor. I have known Rick since 2018, when I was elected to the Lake Placid Central School District Board of Education. I served with him in that capacity for five years. Now we are fellow Rotarians. Rick is a talented leader and a solid citizen: thorough, objective, deeply fair, a careful listener and a thoughtful decision-maker. He is the right person to lead North Elba through today’s political divisions, economic uncertainty and the unpredictable but obvious effects of a changing climate.
Thank you for running, Rick. You have my vote.
