Growing up there were common themes that no matter what side you buttered your bread honesty was foundational. From Cub Scouts, school, church and parents truth was the mantra. From “chicken little” and the “boy who called wolf” morality mattered. Fast forward to the present day alternative facts are now the norm. Public shaming for speaking the truth is emanating from the leadership of this country. If one isn’t regurgitating the falsehoods spewing from our leader you will be chastised. If you work for the government today you no longer can take pride in truthfully doing your job but rather getting the atta-boy from the liar-in-chief.

The firing of the head of the labor department statistics is just the most recent punctuation mark on our sinking credibility. Russia, Russia, Russia. Pillow stuffers are election technology experts.
