Elect Bryan Liam Kennelly judge
To the editor:
I am supporting Bryan Liam Kennelly for Essex County judge. He is from the North Country and deeply a part of it.
Bryan’s grandparents, Jim and Darlene Abbott, moved to Keene and bought the Woodruff Motel in 1968. Bryan’s parents and most of the Kennelly family bought the motel from the Abbotts in 1978, a few years before he was born. I guess you could say he was raised in the workings of a small business and the ways to navigate the unique pathways of the North Country from day one.
Our family came to know Bryan (Liam) when he and our daughter attended the Lake Placid School, where Liam was senior class president. It seemed fitting that after attending SUNY New Paltz and Vermont Law School he’d come back and be a general practice attorney in Lake Placid.
Bryan Liam Kennelly chose to marry and start his family in Essex County where his daughter started preschool this September.
The most important reason I support Bryan Liam for Essex County judge is that his experience as an attorney is in helping people navigate the legal system. His law practice concentrates in the three areas the county judge oversees: family law, probate law, and criminal law. He knows the resources available for our county residents. Other sides of the law may be more lucrative, but Liam seems to truly enjoy helping people during difficult times in their life. He sees the county court as a place where he can make a difference.
Bryan Liam Kennelly has deep history in Essex County and is also forward thinking. His 14 years of experience as an attorney and his love for the North Country make him well qualified to become our next Essex County judge.
