Who’s the radical now?

To the editor:

Ludicrous is defined as farcical, absurd or inept. That’s the word that came to mind when news broke that our good ole representative Elise Stefanik decided to join up with Matt Gaetz (you know the guy from Florida that apparently has penchant for young girls) to let us know that former president Trump wasn’t involved in an insurrection. So, I guess all of us that bothered to watch the sh*$ show on TV that occurred on Jan. 6, 2021, must be confused or radical or delusional to think it was really happening.

Some of her fellow representatives have called it a normal tourist visit gee I guess that must be, hmmm. But wait. Let’s look at what good ole Elise said back then: “This is truly a tragic day for America, I fully condemn the dangerous violence and destruction that occurred today at the United States Capitol. Americans have a Constitutional right to protest and freedom of speech, but violence in any form is absolutely unacceptable and anti-American. The perpetrators of this un-American violence and destruction must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

I guess then the job interview that Elise apparently is in requires some real changes in her perspective. The same people she describes above are now to be known as hostages, and the guy that invited them all to come on down, “It will be wild,” was just joking. He was planning all along to peacefully transfer power and walk into the sunset, accept that he lost and sing kumbaya. Hold it. That’s not what happened, is it? It appears that falls into that alternative fact category depending on what color lenses you are peering through. Yup, ludicrous seems to sum it up. Thanks, Elise, for expanding my vocabulary my lenses are clear glass. Who’s the radical now?
