We’ve known Dmitry Feld for years from his career with USA Luge and his personal efforts within the community, the Shipman Youth Center and the I Love BBQ & Music Festival. He was such a kind and generous man. His personality was infectious. How could this guy give such big, big hugs. His efforts were endless to assist in making everyone feel part of our community, whether it be athletes here training, locals or visitors. He helped anyone in need and volunteered tirelessly. His most recent efforts over the last two years to gather supplies and aid for Ukraine were amazing. How could you say no to anything he set out to accomplish? Dmitry will be hugely missed. We hope the spirit of all that he persevered will continue. Dmitry’s passing will be a great loss not only to his family but also to our community and the Adirondack region.
