On behalf of the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism, we are writing to express our appreciation for the outstanding job all of the local communities did in making the 2023 holiday week a memorable experience for locals and visitors alike.

Despite the inclement weather, we heard an abundance of positive feedback from visitors and locals throughout the week, highlighting the activities that were available, as well as the genuine hospitality that was provided by businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups throughout the region. It was evident that all of our combined efforts to offset the inclement weather did not go unnoticed, and was greatly appreciated by all.

The many hours of public skating, the array of holiday events, special promotions in restaurant and retail locations, and spectacular holiday decorations added an extra layer of excitement to this special destination and showcased the local commitment to creating lasting memories for those who live here and those who chose to spend their holidays with us.

As a destination marketing and management organization, we at ROOST are grateful for everyone’s dedication to excellence, which has undoubtedly contributed to the positive image and reputation of our area as a premier tourism destination.
