On behalf of the board and staff of the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, we would like to thank the more than 250 businesses and individuals who donated to this year’s virtual Joy to the Children event.

For over three decades, Joy to the Children – graciously hosted by Ed and Lisa Weibrecht and the Mirror Lake Inn – has raised funds to support a variety of children’s activities at the LPCA and has had a tremendous impact on arts education in our region, sponsoring free afterschool workshops, the School Day Matinee performance series, the free Young & Fun summer series, and so much more.

We are lucky to be part of a community that values the arts and supports our mission to instill a love of creating and experiencing the arts to the children of the Adirondacks.

While we are saddened that we could not be together in our traditional way again this holiday season, we cherish the memories of past Joy to the Children evenings and look forward to making new memories next year.
