On behalf of the Educational Opportunity Fund of the LPCSD, more commonly known as the Ed Op Fund, I wish to extend our thanks to the Planning Committee of Lake Placid Community Day and its sponsors. We are a grassroots, not-for-profit organization that aims to improve the educational, cultural and social opportunities for students in our community by sponsoring events that impact all students. In addition, we grant classroom requests submitted by students and teachers. This event and the manner in which it was held provided an opportunity for us to be present in the community thereby familiarizing our citizens with its purpose and to answer questions.
