We are very blessed to live in Lake Placid and are lucky to have wonderful candidates for public office. On Tuesday, March 16, I will be voting for Art Devlin for Lake Placid mayor and Marc Galvin and Jackie Kelly for village trustees.

During my years as a North Elba Town councilman I had the pleasure of working with Art on many projects including short-term rental legislation, land use codes revisions, Lake Placid/North Elba community development, and Mirror Lake sidewalk repaving. Art is a hard worker, always prepared, and willing to listen. Art possesses a cooperative attitude and demonstrates innovative thinking. As a registered Independent, I am pleased to have the opportunity to support Art Devlin, who I believe is best suited to serve our community’s interests.

Village trustee candidates Marc Galvin and Jackie Kelly have provided years of service to this community as volunteers and as members of various boards and organizations. Their experience and expertise will be invaluable as Lake Placid tackles the many challenges we are facing including affordable housing and Main Street parking.
