From heroes to toads
To the editor:
Unfortunately what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas. One thoughtless decision can make heroes into toads, as the onstage performance of the 1980 Olympic hockey team disappointingly points out.
Writer Lou Reuter said it eloquently and painfully in his opinion piece (Feb. 28). Those guys have been ALL of America’s heroes for 40 years. Now? Perhaps not so much.
