On behalf of Cara Eisley and the Lake Placid High School Travel Club, I would like to thank a number of businesses and organizations for supporting the Zombie Run fundraiser we held on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Mount Van Hoevenberg biathlon range.

We’d like to thank Price Chopper, Kinney Drugs and Coakley Ace Hardware for donating supplies and the following local businesses for donating some fantastic prizes: Central Garage, Sparkle, Simply Gourmet, Smoke Signals, The Cottage, Wildwood Inn, The Bookstore Plus, ORDA, Green Goddess, Emma’s Creamery, Palace Theatre, Fitness Revolution and The Hungry Trout.

We are very appreciative of all the people who showed up to participate or just cheer on the runners for this event despite the weather.
