Carry in, carry out, even for dog poo on Heaven Hill Trails
To the editor:
You recently covered the opening of the new Heaven Hill Trails. They are spectacularly beautiful and very easy for a non-athlete like me to navigate with my beloved dog. I am so grateful for these trails. There are even poo bag kiosks so you can be a responsible dog-owner, but I’ve noticed that some people just leave the full bags there. There are no trash cans at the trail head or along the trails. So, it would be better if everyone took the clue and packed out their dog poo instead of leaving it for someone else to pick up.
