Kiwanis Club happy to host Radio Week, Teddy Bear Picnic

To the editor:

The Kiwanis Club of Lake Placid believes that it takes a community to raise a child. This is why we call on our citizens to support Kiwanis Radio Week. It is our one and only fundraising drive each year that allows us to continue supporting our younger generation through sponsorship of Girl and Boy Scouts troops, Key Clubs in Lake Placid and Keene, scholarships for graduating seniors, merit awards for middle and the elementary school, dictionaries for the fourth-graders and programs like Teddy Bear Picnic.

Thank you SPONSORS of Kiwanis Radio Week 2015: American Legion Post 326, Aubuchon Hardware, Casella Waste Management, Central Garage, Coakley High Peaks Ace Hardware, Darrah & Darrah Autobody, Dennin & Dennin, Engel & Voelkers Lake Placid Real Estate, Eye Peek, Generations Restaurant and Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort, Gordon W.
