Dmitry Feld and his crew at the I Love BBQ and Music Festival have continued to add attractions to the event for the whole family, not just for people who love the taste and culture of barbecue food.

There really is something for everyone: food, music, BMX bike demonstrations, professional wrestling, woodsmen’s demonstrations from Paul Smith’s College students and opportunities to play the ever-popular sport of cornhole. There are opportunities to taste pulled pork and pork ribs, prepared by the competition teams, as this event is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society.

It’s all taking place on Friday, Sept. 1 through Sunday, Sept. 3 at the North Elba Show Grounds on state Route 73 in Lake Placid.

It’s not just a fun event for the holiday weekend; it’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Shipman Youth Center. Your admission fees and proceeds from the raffle will benefit the children of Lake Placid. Learn more at www.ilbbqf.com.

Starting at $1.44/week.
