Students get big savings with online newspaper subscriptions

Looking for a unique Christmas gift for a local student? The Lake Placid News and Adirondack Daily Enterprise are now giving students a big break on digital subscriptions.

For only $5 a month, they can get access to our websites during the school year. The Student Newspaper Subscription program is for students enrolled at any educational institution.

A digital subscription to the News and/or the Enterprise is a great way to keep elementary, middle and high school students informed about their communities, and our local news coverage may even help with their studies.

For college students, a digital subscription keeps them in touch with their hometown communities — their friends, neighbors, etc.

Our goal is to reach younger consumers of news.

A digital subscription gives students 24-hour access to our latest stories — and archives — accessible from any internet-connected device: smartphone, computer or tablet.

Students interested in taking advantage of the $5/month Student Newspaper Subscription offer can contact our circulation coordinator, Liz Murray, at 518-891-2600, ext. 32, or lmurray@adirondackdailyenterprise.com.

Starting at $1.44/week.
