Photos needed for 2022 calendar contest

Do you take great Adirondack photos? Time is running out to submit close-up, vista or action photos for the 2022 calendar contest for the Lake Placid News and Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

The deadline is Monday, Sept. 20.

We’re in particular need of winter photos right now, but we encourage you to submit them from any season.

In all, 14 photos will be chosen to be featured in the 2022 calendar, and the cover photo will earn the photographer $100.

Send photos as jpeg or TIFF attachments to contests@adirondackdailyenterprise.com. The resolution must be at least 300 dpi, and they must be horizontal (landscape) in orientation — vertical shots will not be accepted.

People may submit up to four photos for the contest — one photo per email submission. Provide your name, mailing address and phone number, plus the location and date the photo was taken. Photos without requested information will be discarded. Accepted photos become the property of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

The full color wall calendar will be distributed to our print subscribers and advertisers in December. Extra copies will be for sale at the Enterprise office, 54 Broadway, Saranac Lake.

For more information, call 518-891-2600.

Starting at $1.44/week.
