LIBRARY NEWS: Library sees visitation spike for eclipse

Julia Shively and Ciro Cavaliere, of Pennsylvania, stopped in on Saturday, April 6, two days before the solar eclipse and appreciated the safety glasses. (Provided photo)

During the past few weeks, we have been enjoying wonderful spring weather. With the end of spring break and, of course, the solar eclipse behind us, the library is planning exciting events for the coming summer.

On Monday, April 8, many visitors came to enjoy the beautiful view of Mirror Lake and the mountains surrounding our small village during the total solar eclipse. By the end of the day, our counter had registered over 460 people who had entered the library since 9:30 a.m. It was an exciting day for all!
