Susan Anthony Brownell, 84, formerly of Johnstown, passed on to the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at Elderwood of Uihlein in Lake Placid, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Albany on July 23, 1941, she was the first daughter of Leonard D. and Margaret Kearns Brownell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, 26 Broadway, in Fonda. Final burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fonda. Memorial contributions may be made to High Peaks Hospice, 1247 Dix Ave, Hudson Falls, NY 12893. Arrangements are by Robert M.
