Connie was born in Hartford, Connecticut on Dec. 24, 1948, to Art and Dot Wells. After moving back to Keene as a small child, Connie attended Keene Central School and graduated in 1966. She went on to study physical education at SUNY Cortland, earning her degree in 1970.

The family will be having a private burial service in July. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America would be greatly appreciated.
