Born on Nov. 4,1925, he was the son of Aurthur P. Knox and Margaret E. Plut and grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, with an American Legion prayer service at 6:45 p.m., at the M.B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. American Legion, Post 326 Lake Placid will officiate. His high honored military funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
