Thomas F. Smith, 70, passed away on Nov. 16, 2022, in Kingsport, Tennessee. Born on Nov. 25, 1951, in Lake Placid, he was the son of Thomas B. and Beulah Borden Smith. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10 in the auditorium at the Lake Placid High School, where he taught for 31 years. Burial will be at North Elba Cemetery, Lake Placid. The M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid will assist in arranging local services.
