Carly was born in Chicopee, MA, and moved to Lake Placid, N.Y., with her parents to pursue her passion in figure skating.

Anyone who knew Carly will miss her vibrant personality and ability to make everyone smile and laugh. Her love of travel was known to all. She always made every trip an adventure for her family with memories that will last a lifetime.

She leaves behind her husband of 32 years Jamie, her children whom she dearly loved “To the moon and stars and back,” Maribeth and Andrew, parents Richard and Marilyn (Lysek), brothers Rick, Kenneth, and John, and her nephew Nick.

There will be a private gathering for immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carly’s remembrance to the Friends of the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., at www.fonz.org.
