DEATH: Beatrice J. Colby
Beatrice June Colby, 87 of Lake Placid, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid after a short illness. Born on June 6, 1935, in Chateaugay, she was the daughter of George and Maude (LaPlant) Bracy.
Visiting hours were held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the M. B. Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid, followed by a brief prayer service at 6. Burial will take place in the spring at North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid. A light reception at the American Legion Post 326 in Lake Placid will take place after the service.
