Michael G. Rosler passed away peacefully on Oct. 16, 2022, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on Feb. 20, 1939, in New York City, he was the son of Hans and Lieselotte Rosler.

His early childhood was spent in Argentina. Michael was a graduate of Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years. His working career was in insurance and as a litigator for Liberty Mutual and Commercial Union from which he retired in 1994. His passion was finances and traveling. He traveled the world over, always returning to recount the people he talked with and places he had seen.

In 1994, he moved to Lake Placid and became a long-time resident. He will be remembered and missed.

He leaves behind his sister Christiana Pinto, nephew Adrian Dirks-Pinto, wife Michele, great-nephew Miles Dirks-Pinto, cousin Gabriele Rosler, second cousin Walther Rosler and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 at the M. B, Clark, Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid. Share a memory or leave condolences at mbclarkfuneralhome.com.
