Mr. Sato was born July 20, 1956 in Japan. He moved to the United States of America around 25 years ago and made Lake Placid his home.

There are no calling hours. A graveside remembrance service will be held in North Elba Cemetery, Lake Placid at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5. Friends attending are encouraged to share a brief story or offer a prayer.
