Don was born June 3, 1946 in Manhattan, the son of LeRoy and Beatrice Stillwell. He grew up in the Bronx and moved to the Adirondacks in his teens.

Calling hours were held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the M. B. Clark Inc., funeral home in Lake Placid. Cremation will follow.
