Sue was a free spirit and loved life, her family and the many animals on the ranch where she lived with her long time companion Hal German.

Sue is survived by Hal German of Hamshire, Texas; her mother Grace Thompson of Lake Placid; her two daughters: Christina Entrot and her long time companion Leon of Decatur, Illinois and Jackie Hargis and her husband Edward of Decatur, Illinois; her grandchildren Leah and Celina Ragsdale. James, Travis, Hailey and Eric Hargis; an older brother John Merrill and Beth of Georgetown; a sister, Linda Cummins and Jeff of Newton, New Jersey; her younger brother David Thompson and Marlene of Lewis; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sue was predeceased by her daughter Tanya Entrot and her father Carl A. Thompson.

Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The M.B. Clark, Inc. funeral home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
