Thanks to the Olympic Regional Development Authority, the Olympic Speedskating Oval will ring out to the sounds of laughter, cookie munching and kids whizzing around the track. The event will run from 5t o 7 p.m., and rentals, if needed, will be provided free of charge thanks to the generosity and support of the Gordon W. Pratt Agency of Lake Placid.

Over the past two years, more than 200 local community members have come together to hone their skills, share a hot chocolate and enjoy a night of community fun at this historic venue. Organizers are looking forward to welcoming students, families and staff and hope temperatures have risen just a little in time for the event.
