History Festival set for Aug. 9
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society will be hosting its annual Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 at The History Museum.
This year’s festival will offer plenty of food options — including hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks provided by the Lake Placid Masonic Lodge (proceeds will support their scholarship programs), live music with Scott Sileo, crafters and other local vendors, bake sale, silent auction, white elephant sale, vintage furniture sale, games and more.
All are welcome and admission to the event is free. The History Museum is located at 242 Station St. at the old Lake Placid train station.
