LAKE PLACID — Dr. Gracey Welsh of the Lake Placid Animal Hospital and current St. Agnes School parent was kind enough to bring two of her goats, Teacup and Banana Bread (lovingly named by her daughter Nell), to visit the school’s students on Jan. 9 in culmination of the preschool Creative Curriculum study of pets.

“Obviously, the whole school wanted in on the fun so she invited all of our students to come down and learn about goats and pet them!” St. Agnes School Principal Katie Turner said. “It was so much fun and really put a smile on all of the students’ faces!”

Turner even posed with Teacup for the school’s Facebook page.

Starting at $1.44/week.
