The restaurant received the Best of Award of Excellence, Wine Spectator’s second of three levels of distinction, and The View is recognized among other winners as a top destination for wine lovers.

The restaurant boasts an inventory of nearly 500 global selections, with an estimated value of $225,000.

Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists in 1981. There are three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award — with 2,001; 1,411; and 93 winners this year in each respective category.

The View Restaurant, AAA Four Diamond rated the past 16 years, was cited for offering a wine list with significant vintage depth, and displaying excellent breadth across multiple wine-growing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation.
