SARANAC LAKE — Seventy-two students from districts around the region were awarded for completing trades programs at Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES on June 12-13.

These students from the Adirondack Educational Center headed to graduation ceremonies this week in their home districts. BOCES held completion ceremonies for students in Building Trades, Natural Resource Science, New Vision Education, New Vision Health Care Exploration, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Cosmetology and Health Occupations.

The Lake Placid students who completed FEH BOCES programs are listed below.

¯ Building Trades: James Howell, two-year certificate, 10-Hour Construction OSHA certification, Most Improved Award; and Joss Jakubowski, two-year certificate, technical endorsement, 10-Hour Construction OSHA certification.

¯ Cosmetology: Madison Herzog, two-year certificate, technical endorsement.
