Adirondack Bank has a branch located on the outskirts of Lake Placid next to Hannaford, but for the convenience of tourists, community members and businesses that need meeting space, Arcuri said it made sense to expand into downtown Lake Placid.

“We want to take care of our community by creating more jobs and having a full-time mortgage originator in our area, making it easier to bank local.”

This state-of-the-art, full-service branch is a 1,300-square-foot facility. It features a Community Room with Wi-Fi, which is available for use by local organizations, a 24-hour ATM located in the branch vestibule and a night depository. In addition to traditional banking products and services, there is access to investment, retirement and healthcare products and services, offered through the bank’s affiliate, Adirondack Financial Services Corp., and insurance products and services, provided through the bank’s subsidiary, Adirondack Insurance Services.
