A skiers a.k.a Spiderman hits the pond during a previous Pond Skimming event at the Whiteface Mountain Ski Area in Wilmington. The popular event is scheduled to take place Sunday, April 7 at the ski area. The event begins at 1 p.m. and prizes will be awarded from Maui North, Cunningham's ski bar and Viking Ski shop for distance, costume and biggest splash.
