The Olympic Region and Whiteface Mountain have been hit with plenty of snow the past few days. This cloud blanketed the summit of the mountain on Friday as skiers and snowboarders enjoyed the fresh "pow." (That's powder!) As of Sunday, Whiteface had 71 trails open and 7 lifts operating with primary surface of packed powder, according to the mountain’s daily ski report. Photo/Richard Rosentreter/Lake Placid News
