— Vermont State University recognized Ceilidh Cheeseman of Wilmington, for earning Dean’s List honors for the Fall 2024 semester.

— The SUNY Plattsburgh dean’s list for fall 2024 includes students from 22 states and Puerto Rico and 20 other countries.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, undergraduate students must achieve a minimum 3.5 semester grade point average with at least 12 credit hours. Part-time, matriculated students are also eligible for the dean’s list after accruing 12 credit hours consecutively and achieving a minimum 3.5 grade point average. The credits may be accumulated in more than one semester. Pass/fail credits do not count.

— The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 774 students to the President’s List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2024 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Dr. Suzanne Smith. To achieve the honor of being on the President’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. This semester, the honorees included: Jack Armstrong of Lake Placid, whose major is Music Education; Abbey Gavin of Lake Placid,, whose major is Childhood/Early Childhood Education; Sara Richards of AuSable Forks, whose major is Exercise Science; Reese Shambo of Jay, whose major is Criminal Justice Studies.

— The University at Buffalo has named 4,330 students to the fall 2024 dean’s list. They include: Max Flanigan and Tristan Spotts of Lake Placid.

— Andrew D. Scanio of Lake Placid was named to the Dean’s List at Saint Michael’s College outside of Burlington, Vt., for the Fall 2024 semester. Students who complete at least 12 credits of classes and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.5 in a particular semester are cited on the Dean’s List for that semester.

— Students have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester at Clarkson University. They include: Troy McDonald of Jay, Bailey Peck of Wilmington and Zachary Zientko of Jay.
