Field is set for ECAC final four in Lake Placid
LAKE PLACID – The field is set for this weekend’s Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s ice hockey championships at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid.
The semifinals take place at the 1980 Herb Brooks Arena on Friday and the championship game will be held Saturday.
The top four seeds, including No. 1 ranked Union College, all advanced to the championship tournament.
Cornell and Union will square off in Friday’s first semifinal with the opening faceoff slated for 4 p.m. and Quinnipiac and Colgate will play in the second matchup scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
The championship contest is slated for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
