Gary retired after 22 years as a mechanic for the New York State Police Troop B in 2002. His true love was working on heavy equipment for Gender Wilson-John Deere.

Gary is predeceased by his mother Beatrice Mesec Johnson and brother Richard Mesec. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan (Farley) Mesec; son Gary Michael Mesec, of College Park, Maryland; and brother Donald Mesec, of Hanover, New Hampshire.

At Gary’s request, there will be no calling hours. Services will be private at the conveniences of his family.

Funeral arrangements are in care of M.B. Clark Funeral Home of Lake Placid.
