KEENE — Keene’s Memorial Day service on Monday, May 26 had several new features such as opening with a duet of “Traveling Soldier” sung by Lauren and Avery Whitney accompanied by Amy Nelson on guitar, a duet that impressed all who attended.

They had a large turnout, as is often the case. The Rev Susie Allen led the prayer, historian Peter Slocum reflected on the veterans of early Keene and the Borealis Singers performed “Dona Noblis Pacem.”
